Family Pics

Brad's sister and her family came home for Christmas this year so we decided to get family pictures since everyone was home, plus the last pictures we got we were missing two of our newest family members (Grayson and Kaden). Anyways, Brad's mom found someone in the ward to take pictures at the church. It would have worked out wonderfully except the two little ones decided they didn't want to take pictures so....in most the pics Grayson is trying to escape so that he can play in the gym with the basketball and Kaden is crying. We even had to take a few pictures with the basketball in it just so Grayson would sit still. Although the pictures aren't perfect it was nice to capture the moment.

February....where are you?

Let me just say, January has not been our month. It started off bad by Brad and I getting into a fight on New Years Eve (over something ridiculous I might add) and missing our party we had been looking forward to. Then, the director at my job decided he was leaving without much notice which is leaving all of us in a real bind--requiring me to add grant writing to my list of to do's---because I wasn't busy enough, ya know. Next, the whole family had been sick as ever. We've all had the stomach flu as well as awful colds. So....I've decided I'm ready for a new month, a fresh start. Hopefully February holds more happiness and health.

This is why my computer never works

I came into the office this morning and found Grayson down by all the cords pushing buttons and who knows what else. Brad and I are always wondering why the computer isn't working right and now I think I've found the culprit. But...he is so darn cute it's hard to get too angry.

New Year Changes

I can't believe it's already 2009, time sure does fly, especially since having Grayson. Since it was a new year Brad and I decided it was time for some changes. We decided at the end of 2008 that we'd put our townhouse on the market. Much to our suprise we recieved a close to full price offer just last week. The people who bought it still have a house to sell so it may be a little while till we move but we're excited to start looking for another home. I don't think we'd ever do the townhouse thing again but instead look for something with a nice yard for us to enjoy during the summer. Other big news....Brad changed real estate agencies. After over 3 years he left Help-U-Sell and moved to WinStar Real Estate. He hasn't been over there for more than a couple weeks but so far he's enjoying it and keeping himself busy. He was sad to leave everyone at Help-U-Sell but definitely felt like it was time for a change. Besides that we are just enjoying life and are excited about the prospects that 2009 holds for us. Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
