Swimming Lessons

My cousin, Angie and me, decided to sign the little ones up for swimming lessons at the Apple Athletic. The lessons were a mommy and me class and lasted for 8 weeks. We just finished up last week and it was perfect timing because I'm hoping the weather is going to start getting a little nicer so we can start playing more outside. Anyways, Grayson learned how to blow bubbles, jump in the pool, how to lay on his back and belly and kick his legs, and how to use the handrail at the pool. The worst part for Gray was the day the instructor brought out the life jackets. Grayson completely refused to put on on, he screamed and threw an absolute tantrum. (We'll have to get it figured out before Grandpa gets the boat out.) We had a lot of fun spending time with Angie and Kizer (Kizer absolutely LOVED everything about swimming lessons, won't be surpised if he joins the Olympic swimming team someday.) Thanks to everyone who came and watched Gray do his "tricks" at swimming lessons.

Britney Spears

BRITNEY SPEARS---we were far away, can you tell?

The girls, we were soaking wet from walking in the rain

My cousin Amie and her daughter Bailee came too.

My sisters invited me to the Britney Spears concert in Salt Lake City. We had a really fun time, her show was incredible, never a dull moment. Unfortunately, our seats SUCKED so we were really far away. We still had a great time!

SMILE...

I thought this face was just too cute not to post. Now, when I take a picture of Grayson, I say, "Say cheese", if he's in a good mood, this is the face I get---what a ham. Gotta love him.

We had a really great Easter this year, we were entertained the entire weekend. We colored eggs, went on an Easter egg hunt in our neighborhood, and then ate lunch/dinner at my parents house and Brad's parents house. It was nice to be around family and luckily the weather was beautiful.

Mmmmm....Peanut Butter Fritos

Taylor and Gray

Grayson licking the spoon

If you haven't ever tried Peanut Butter Fritos you've got to try them. While my aunt and uncle were visiting my mom found out they'd never tried these before. Immediately, she started making some so they could try them. It's the simplest of recipts:
In a pot mix together equal parts peanut butter, sugar, and Karo syrup (depending on how much you want). Spread a bag of fritos onto some wax paper. Pour the mixture of peanut butter/karo syrup onto the fritos---let cool for a MOMENT---then enjoy. If you ask my mom she'd tell you that they're even better in the morning for breakfast.

Gifts from Hawaii

My grandma recently returned from Hawaii and she brought back gifts for everyone. For the youngest two (Grayson and Trinity) she brought back the cutest t-shirts that had monkey's on them and say Hawaii at the bottom. We put the shirts on and TRIED to get a few cute pictures of the two in their shirts but....Grayson, once again, didn't want to cooperate. He was more interested in trying to take a picture himself.

Family Time

My grandma wanted a picture with all the grandkids, tallest to shortest, notice where I ended up....I'm the oldest of the bunch standing next to the youngest.

We had a great weekend. My aunt, uncle and cousins all came to visit from Washington. We hadn't seen them in a few years and they had never met Grayson so it was really nice to fianlly get together.
