The newest addition

Kaiser J. Thompson 7lb. 10 oz.
Angie with Kizer, how sweet!

I'm so excited to introduce the newest member of our extended family....Kizer J. Thompson. My cousin and her husband are in Ohio picking him up, they were even able to be there for his birth. We are so anxious for them to return to Idaho so we can meet him in person. They will make such wonderful parents, we're all so happy they finally have their baby.

Easter Sunday

Easter morning with his "new" car
We bundled up and went outside for a ride, he's so...cute!
Halfway around the block Grayson fell asleep on the steering wheel, unfortunately I didn't have a camera to capture the moment
Grayson loves his easter basket, I think he liked the grass more than the candy
Brad and Teagan flying a kite, brrrr.....

We had a nice Easter this year, it was Grayson's first Easter, so that was pretty exciting. The Easter Bunny brought him a Winnie the Pooh car and some blocks, and Grandma Koster provided the Easter basket with tons of candy (just what I needed). We went to the Koster's for dinner and had a lot of fun. Brad's brother, Todd and his family were there and we hadn't seen them or the kids for a while so it was nice. Besides the weather being so cold, we had a great day!!!

Breakfast is Exhausting

The other day Brad was feeding Grayson his food in his high chair and after he was finished he just went right to sleep. I thought it was the cutest thing that I had to snap a couple pictures. How conveniet, our high chair even reclines.

OUCH!!!!!

The other day Grayson pulled our globe on top of him and it hit his head and nose---notice the bandaid on his forehead. Anyways, he cried for a whole 1 minute and then was over it, we definitely felt worse than he did. Anyways, the globe is now in the basement with about every other decoration that we own. It's funny because when Grayson first started crawling we would just put the decorations out of his reach or distract him with something else and then at the end of the night when we picked up the house, we'd put everything back into it's spot so the house looked "pretty" again. Well, eventually that got really old and we fianlly said enought and just took everything to the basement. I have to say, it's so....much easier not having to move everything around everyday. Someday, we'll get it out again, maybe?

Tub Time

As part of our bedtime routine, we put Grayson in the bathtub nightly---he loves it! For Christmas we bought him his bath chair and it's so nice because I can put him in it and he'll play with his toys forever. I find myself looking forward to bathtime every night so that I can either just sit and relax, read a magazine, balance my checkbook, etc.

He crawls, drinks from his sippy, even does pull-ups

Our little man is growing up so....fast, next week he'll already be 9 months old, where does the time go? It's so exciting watching Grayson get big and learn new things but it also makes my heart break a little knowing that my baby isn't going to be a baby anymore. Grayson is such a happy, well-tempered little boy--I coudn't ask for a better baby. I also have to add that my husband has proved to be a WONDERFUL father. Luckily Brad's schedule allows for him to be home with Grayson sometimes during the day. I watch how he interacts with him and it's so sweet. I'm truly the luckiest girl in the world and feel blessed to have Grayson and Brad in my life.

Trying to crawl

Now that Grayson's 8 months old he's decided he wants to be more independent. He's really getting close to crawling but just isn't quite there yet (truthfully, he'd rather just walk). He gets in crawling position and moves his arms a couple times and then becomes frustrated and rolls over. I think he'll have it down soon, I'll be sure to post when he does.
